Who could be playing Dublin in 2027?
The concert calendar is already starting to fill up, with major gigs confirmed across Marlay Park, Malahide Castle, Slane Castle and Aviva Stadium - but there are still plenty of artists yet to announce their plans.
At Concert Express, we spend a lot of time keeping an eye on Dublin concerts. From new tour announcements, New Album releases and European Tour dates to gaps in artists’ schedules and the rumours doing the rounds, we’re putting together our predictions for who could appear at Dublin’s biggest outdoor concert venues next.
Please note: Unless an artist is specifically marked as confirmed, the names below are predictions and rumours only.
Dublin Concerts Already Confirmed for 2027
Before we get into the predictions, there are already some big names locked in for Dublin’s 2027 concert season.
- Kingfishr will play Marlay Park on 19 June 2027, while sombr and Amble have both been confirmed for Malahide Castle.
- At Slane Castle, Fontaines D.C. will headline two huge shows on 26 and 27 June 2027.
- The Aviva Stadium calendar has also started to fill, with Noah Kahan confirmed for July 2027.
And we don't expect the announcements to stop there.
One Prediction We Already Got Right: Sombr at Malahide Castle

We’ll admit it ... this one made us feel pretty good.
After Sombr’s Electric Picnic appearance, we spotted a clue on his Instagram Story that made us wonder whether a bigger Irish outdoor show might be on the way.
So we put him on our Malahide Castle prediction list.
And then it happened; Sombr was officially announced for Malahide Castle on 15 June 2027, shortly after his Electric Picnic appearance.
Prediction: Sombr at Malahide Castle ✅
That’s exactly why we keep an eye on artist socials, touring schedules and those little clues that can appear before an official announcement.
Will we get the next one right too?
Clues We’re Watching
Sometimes concert predictions aren’t just guesswork.
Artists love dropping cryptic hints before announcing new music, tours and dates - and right now there are a few clues getting fans very excited!
Oasis: Manchester, Glasgow… Dublin next?

Oasis have been keeping fans guessing with a series of cryptic videos and clues posted across their social channels.
Fans have been analysing everything from numbers in the background to football references and hidden coordinates, with theories so far pointing towards Glasgow’s Celtic Park and Manchester’s Etihad Stadium. Reports around a wider 2027 UK and European tour have only added to the speculation.
So naturally, we have one question:
Manchester? Glasgow? Europe? Is Dublin next?
Nothing has been officially confirmed for Ireland, but if Oasis continue dropping location-based clues, we’ll be watching very closely for anything that points this way.
Our dream prediction? Oasis at Slane Castle, 2027.
Harry Styles: What does 10.09.26 mean?

Another mystery is unfolding around Harry Styles.
Mysterious colourful posters have appeared in several cities, including Berlin and Madrid, all carrying the date 10.09.26 but without clearly explaining what it means. Fans have connected the campaign with Harry Styles and are speculating that an announcement could be coming on 10 September.
Styles has already used poster campaigns as part of his recent promotional activity, with “We Belong Together” posters appearing across cities around the world.
Could 10 September bring new tour dates? And if another European tour is coming, could Dublin be part of it?
For now, it’s firmly in the rumour category - but Harry Styles is definitely going on our Aviva Stadium watchlist.
Marlay Park Concert Predictions 2027
Marlay Park is one of Dublin’s biggest summer concert venues and regularly attracts major international artists alongside some of Ireland’s biggest acts.
With Kingfishr already confirmed for Marlay Park in June 2027, the big question is: who else could join the Marlay Park concert line-up?
Who could play Marlay Park in 2027?
-
Hozier
Our prediction: Strong possibility
A huge Dublin outdoor show from Hozier feels like a natural fit.
He has the audience, the catalogue and the international profile needed for a major Marlay Park headline date, and a large-scale homecoming concert would undoubtedly be one of the biggest Irish gigs of the summer - because who could forget his stand out performance at Malahide Castle a couple years back?
Could Hozier play Marlay Park in 2027? Nothing has been confirmed, but he's one we'd be watching closely.
-
The Killers
Our prediction: One to watch
The Killers and a huge outdoor Dublin crowd are a pretty obvious combination.
They have the kind of range built for a venue like Marlay Park, and if another European summer tour develops, we'd certainly have them on the list of possible Dublin announcements.
-
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Our prediction: Possible
Few bands have the scale needed to comfortably take on Marlay Park, but Red Hot Chili Peppers certainly do.
A European summer run would immediately put Dublin fans on alert, particularly if an Ireland-shaped gap appeared in the schedule.
Our dedicated Marlay Park page will continue to carry the latest Marlay Park concerts, dates, gig information and concert bus details as they're announced. Concert Express currently provides services to Marlay Park with the College Road entrance used for concert bus drop-off and pick-up.
Malahide Castle Concert Predictions 2027
Malahide Castle has become one of Dublin’s standout summer concert venues, attracting everything from pop and indie to rock, folk and dance acts.
And 2027 is already looking busy.
Sombr will play Malahide Castle on 15 June, with Amble following on 24 June.
But who else could be added?
Who could play Malahide Castle in 2027?
-
Arctic Monkeys
Our prediction: Strong possibility
If there's one band that feels made for a Malahide Castle summer night, it's Arctic Monkeys.
A Dublin outdoor date would create huge demand, and Malahide feels like a very natural venue if another major touring cycle begins.
-
The Script
Our prediction: One to watch
A big Irish homecoming show is always going to attract attention.
The Script have the fanbase and the catalogue needed for Malahide Castle, and we'd be surprised if their name wasn't part of the conversation whenever future Dublin outdoor dates are being considered.
-
Tame Impala
Another name we'd keep on the radar.
A large Dublin outdoor show would suit Tame Impala's live production perfectly, and Malahide Castle feels like one of the strongest venue matches.
Slane Castle Concert Predictions
Slane is different.
A show at Slane Castle isn't simply another date on the Dublin concert calendar — it tends to become an event in its own right.
And 2027 already has a major headline act.
Confirmed: Fontaines D.C. at Slane Castle
Fontaines D.C. will play two nights at Slane Castle on 26 and 27 June 2027, with Concert Express operating return transport from a range of Dublin and Meath locations.
After that, though, we're already thinking about who could be next.
Could Oasis play Slane Castle?
This is probably the rumour that will get people talking the most.
An Oasis return to Slane Castle would be HUGE, particularly given the band's history with the venue.
There has been ongoing speculation around a possible Slane appearance, but no Oasis Slane Castle concert has been officially confirmed.
St Anne's Park Concert Predictions 2027
St Anne's Park has become another important part of Dublin's summer concert calendar and gives us plenty of room for predictions.
Concert Express is already preparing to serve St Anne's Park concerts in 2027, alongside Marlay Park and Malahide Castle.
Who could play St Anne's Park?
-
The Script
This might be our strongest St Anne's Park prediction.
A major Dublin outdoor show from The Script would be a great fit for the venue and would likely attract a huge Irish crowd.
-
Sienna Spiro
Our prediction: One to watch
With Sienna’s popularity continuing to soar — and tickets for her Fairview Park show already proving hard to get — we reckon Ms. Spiro could be ready for a venue upgrade.
And where better than St Anne’s Park? We’ve seen it happen before: Olivia Dean sold out Fairview Park before stepping up to two sold-out Marlay Park shows. If demand keeps building, Sienna could be next.
-
Lola Young
Our prediction: One to watch
After her surprise Electric Picnic appearance, Lola Young is firmly back on our radar. If that reaction was anything to go by, there’s clearly plenty of appetite to see her back in Ireland.
We reckon a proper Dublin outdoor headline show could be the next step — and St Anne’s Park or Malahide Castle would both feel like a natural fit. One to watch closely.
Aviva Stadium Concert Predictions 2027
The Aviva Stadium is a completely different level of prediction.
We're talking artists capable of filling a stadium — so the potential list becomes much smaller.
Confirmed: Noah Kahan
Noah Kahan is already confirmed for the Aviva Stadium in July 2027, with Concert Express planning transport services for Aviva concerts.
But what other stadium-sized acts could arrive?
Who could play the Aviva Stadium?
-
Coldplay
If Coldplay announce another Irish stadium date, demand would obviously be enormous.
They're one of the first artists we'd consider whenever looking at potential Aviva Stadium concerts.
-
Oasis
If the Slane dream doesn't happen, could Oasis end up at the Aviva instead?
Again, that's firmly in prediction territory — but they'd have absolutely no trouble filling it.
-
Ed Sheeran
Another artist with the scale and Irish following needed for an Aviva Stadium show.
-
Harry Styles
A new major touring cycle from Harry Styles would immediately make Dublin one to watch.
-
Dua Lipa
With the scale of her live shows continuing to grow, an eventual Dublin stadium appearance wouldn't feel far-fetched.
-
Sabrina Carpenter
Could Sabrina Carpenter be ready for the AVIVA stadium upgrade?
Rumours have been building around a potential 2027 stadium tour, with reports suggesting discussions around huge venues including Wembley Stadium. Nothing has been officially announced yet, but after the scale of the Short n’ Sweet era, a move into stadiums certainly wouldn’t feel impossible.
And if a UK and European stadium run does happen, surely Dublin has to be in the conversation?
-
Olivia Rodrigo
This one has definitely caught our attention.
Olivia Rodrigo already has an extensive 2027 European tour lined up, including dates in Stockholm, Amsterdam, Munich, Paris, Milan, Barcelona and a huge run of shows at The O2 in London — but as things stand, there is still no Ireland date announced.
That leaves Irish fans asking the obvious question: surely Dublin isn’t being skipped entirely?
Whether it would be an arena date or a step up to something as big as the Aviva remains to be seen, but with multiple European dates already in the diary and no Dublin show as of yet, Olivia is absolutely one we’re keeping on the prediction list.
Our prediction: watch this space.
Artists Touring Europe We're Watching
One of the biggest clues when predicting Dublin concerts is what is happening elsewhere in Europe.
When an artist announces summer concerts across the UK and Europe — particularly during June and July — Irish fans immediately start looking for gaps in the schedule.
So we'll be watching:
- Artists announcing new albums and world tours
- UK and European summer tour dates
- Major festival headliners
- Gaps between UK and mainland European shows
- Artists with a history of playing Dublin
- Acts who skipped Ireland on their previous tour
Sometimes a gap is just a gap. Sometimes it's where a Dublin date eventually appears.
We'll update this page as new tour announcements give us more clues.
