Electric Picnic returns to Stradbally Hall, County Laois, from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August 2026. Known as Ireland’s largest music and arts festival, Electric Picnic brings together live music, entertainment, comedy, theatre, food and immersive experiences for one of the country’s biggest end-of-summer weekends.

 

Set across the grounds of the Stradbally Estate, the festival offers much more than its main-stage performances. Festivalgoers can explore over 27 stages, venues and themed areas, with returning favourites including the Salty Dog, Trailer Park, Croí, Mindfield, Fish Town and Global Green.

 

  • Electric Picnic 2026 Line-up

The Electric Picnic 2026 line-up features a mix of internationally recognised performers, major Irish artists and emerging talent from across pop, rock, indie, hip-hop and electronic music.

 

Following a double night in Marlay Park, Lewis Capaldi will headline the opening night on Friday, followed by Gorillaz on Saturday. Irish band Fontaines D.C. will bring the festival to a close as the Sunday-night headliner.

 

Other major artists announced for the weekend include:

CMAT, Sombr, Zara Larsson, Skepta, Wolf Alice, Djo, JADE, Wunderhorse, Role Model, Geese, Loyle Carner, Ravyn Lenae, Duke Dumont, Ben Hemsley, The Mary Wallopers and The Saw Doctors.

 

The festival will also showcase homegrown and emerging performers including Florence Road, Cliffords and Madra Salach, while the Terminus arena will feature electronic acts such as Interplanetary Criminal, MALUGI, X Club, Obskür, CamrinWatsin, Clouds, DART, Effy, Faster Horses, Kayleigh Glynn and TWOFACED.

With thousands of festivalgoers travelling to Stradbally throughout the weekend, booking transport in advance is one of the easiest ways to begin your Electric Picnic experience. Travelling by bus, coach or train means you can avoid driving, parking and arranging a lift home after the festival.
